The SCR Task Force seemed to have as many staff people as ordinary citizens, and in the end it was the staff who voted for 4D and the ordinary people who voted for "no build." Now City Public Works Director Peter Fernandez is trying desperately to put as much lipstick on the 3rd Bridge pig as he can to snooker a majority of the Council and keep planning process going, despite the fact that it represents a huge waste of money, about $8 million to date. It will cost millions more to complete the EIS. And our elected official call themselves "fiscal conservatives"? Oh well, it's only ODOT money.Jim Scheppkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04077003905171156283noreply@blogger.com
