Seven Neighborhoods say No; Five More this Week Can Join!

For more on the River Crossing / Third Bridge see a summary critique and all breakfast blog notes tagged River Crossing. The No Third Bridge advocates also have lots of useful information and are organizing speakers at City Council tonight.
A footnote:

It's great to see the discussion on the front page, but right at the top, even before the article, you can see some of the cost of the Statesman's intermittent rather than in-depth attention to the matter.

The image on the right is labeled "4D" - but it is clearly "Alternative 3 – New Bridge from Hope to Tryon"!

The city's mini website on the SRC at one time stated to goal of the project was to "select an alternative that had broad community support". The goal has been removed from the site.

At Monday night's meeting CAN-DO joined the other seven in opposition, so that's eight total.
