Cherriots Board: Advisory Committee Appointments and Rideshare Update Thursday

Thursday the 22nd, Cherriots' Board meets and there's a couple of minor, but interesting items.

The "Ridematching statistics" are a running, cumulative count rather than one quarter's worth, it should be noted.

It looks like the Rideshare Strategic Plan is in motion, and it will be interesting to learn more about the stakeholder interviews.

Carpoolooza - I think the syllabification works better visually than aurally, though I do like to parse it as Car-Poo-Looza, since cars are kinda poopy - also looks interesting.
Projects this year
Not Rideshare, apparently a previous iteration of the Cherriots Citizen Advisory Committee wasn't working, so they iterated anew and have some new appointments.

Gary will be a great advocate for the transit - bike/ped interface, but it's interesting he's identified as representing "recreation" rather than multi-modal commuting or the "last mile."

The Salem Area Mass Transit District Board of Directors meets Thursday, May 22nd, at 6:30pm, in Courthouse Square, the Senator Hearing Room, 555 Court St NE.
